Once upon a time, I created a pie chart of expenses, but I can't remember how I did it? and I don't seem to be able to do it again.

You can still create a pie chart of expenses. Go to My Account -> Views and Reports and select the reports for Expense Type or Payment Method. The Expense Type pie chart shows you a pie with expenses grouped by type and the Payment Method one shows you expenses grouped by payment method (credit card, cash, check, etc). In both cases, once you see the report, you have to click the 'Plot Chart' button... yeah kinda silly, the pie chart should just appear... Also, the pie chart misbehaves in some versions of IE. So yes, this Views and Reports feature is being reworked and will be rolled out in a few weeks. But until then I hope the existing feature works for you.

Would also be helpful if the pie chart gave percentages for the categories.

The pie chart now shows percentages for the data slices. Somewhere during our fixes we accidentally dropped the percentage display. Thanks for pointing this out.
