I cant get the tax calculator to work. what am I doing wrong ?

You just enter an amount, say 30000, then pick other things that apply to you - your marital status and number of dependents and click the Calculate button. You do need to have scripting turned on in your browser. But then many features here won't work if you have scripting turned off in your browser.
