Drop down menu to move between months is good, but it willbe better if we have a June, July, August & September etc..etc.. like that, so we can click directly on the quick link button to move between months.

Yes, this would be good - like quick links to months. I'd like to restrict the links to 3 or 6 months, may be 3 months before and 3 months after the month you are viewing currently. It will clutter the UI a little, but will be a useful feature... let me think about this...
