I am new to this but i find this quite interesting . I was wondering if we have the option to see how much balance is remaining in the account by subtracting the expenses from the income.It look like i have to do it manually but is it possible for it to be generated automatically and displayed on my account..

The difference (the balance amount remaining or the amount overspent) is displayed in the Income Vs Expenses report. You can get to this from My Account - Views and Reports.
I noticed we display the balance only in the Income - Expense Summary report, not the Income - Expense Detail report. We'll add this figure to the detail report too.
Is there any other place you think it would be a good idea (more convenient) to display the balance amount? Let us know - we are always open to suggestions and new ideas.

Once you login, go to My Account - Expenses, click the '+' icon and start entering your expenses. Next you can go to My Account - Budget and setup a monthly budget. Having a budget helps you plan your expenses, now you can track your spending and see if you are over spending. Feel free to ask questions.
These two should get you started and then you can start exploring other features. But your question does kinda say that we should add a wizard-like feature to help newbies get started...
