Need advice for "Withdrawal by owner" usage

I'm running a business account and I widthraw money from accounts for my personal needs. I do not want the withdrawal to be accounted as an expense as I'm doing now with an expense type "Withdrawal".
I think about setting up another account and use TRANSFER from account to account for that purpose. However that money will stay forever in my expenseRegister account. So the next step I think I should do is to edit the Account Balance to make it disappear from my withdrawal account.
Is there any other way to record withdrawal and not have it accounted as an expense?

I think you are on the right track. If I understand your problem right, this is what I'd do -
- Create an Account where the Account Type is Cash Account
- Then transfer money from your existing account into this new Cash Account
- And as you buy stuff, just enter the expense as you would, but set the Account in the expense entry as this new cash account and the total amount in the cash account goes down and so on

Let me know if this works or not.

I already set set up that cash account for paying business expenses by cash.
However my withdrawal problem is I would like to withdraw money from my expenseRegister business account for my personal use which has nothing to do with business; and I would like it to be recorded but not as an expense. I do not use expenseRegister for my personal income/expense.
