Could you add an expense report by sub type?

Thanks for your interest in expenseRegister.

At the moment, you could use the Advanced Reports feature to define your own report. And here you can pick a Type, include 1 or more Sub Types. You can also save this custom report and get to it from Reports - Advanced Reports.

Check it out. Let me know if it helps.

Thanks once again!

Yes, I tried that but you can only do one type at a time. I have a sub-type for my husband and I to separate who made the purchase and love to be able to have separate reports that still shows all the types.

OK. I see your problem. Basically, you want to be able to just select Sub Types without first having to select a Type in the Advanced Reports.

I think we can fix this.

Rolled out a small enhancement. You can create an Advanced Report with just expense SubTypes. You no longer need to pick an expense Type to select related subtypes.

Please try out the Advanced Report. I think this will fix your problem.

Let us know... Thanks!
